Sometimes What You Think is True, Isn’t

Most people, including me, believe that Friday is the worst day to reach out to people if you’re trying to market to them.

Well, I guess I was wrong. I recently came across this statistic in a trade magazine:

Friday is actually a great day for marketing e-mails? Only 14.9% of weekly e-mails come on Friday & the open rate is 19.6%. Compare that to the best open day of the week: Tuesday’s open rate of 19.9% out of the 17.9% of e-mails that arrive that day. (Statistics fro software firm GetResponse)

Trade Show Season Is Here – Are You Getting the Most out of It?

One of the things I love doing most is helping my clients make their trade show/tabletop show exhibits more successful.

That starts with pre-show preparation, goes through booth/table setup andĀ training for staffers, and winds down with post-show follow-up.

I recently had a display table at a San Diego Regional Chamber networking event where my focus was on the promotional products that are always a big hit on a trade show floor as well as a live demonstration of one of the many available ways to attract and keep prospects at your display so that you can engage and qualify them.

With trade show season in full swing, what do you need to do to make sure your exhibit brings in the business you want it to?

Happy New Year!

My wish for you in 2014:

Good health – when you are lucky enough to be healthy, you can do so many things.

Happiness – be sure to smile and enjoy life every day.

Success – remember that success is more than money; it’s good relationships and the ability to be thankful for what you have and make the most of it.

Happy 2014!
